David Healow is no stranger to the wind industry. His passion for wind began in 1958 when he operated and maintained water pumping windmills on his family farm/ranch. In 1972 he began monitoring wind at various potential wind sites in MT and in 1984 and until present day he installed and currently operates Montana’s first and longest continually operating wind farm in Livingston MT. In 2004, David planned, procured and constructed 450KW wind farm in Two Dot, MT; in 2005 he planned, procured and constructed 750KW wind farm in Martinsdale MT; in 2006 he planned, procured and constructed 450 KW wind farm at Moe Ranch near Selkirk MT; and in 2007 he planned, procured and constructed 2MW wind farm at Martinsdale Colony MT. He currently supervisors the operations of each of those wind farms
David had vocational training in high school, on the job training on his family farm/ranch and informal training as aircraft mechanic. He also has aeronautical training through Airline Transport Pilot rating in airplanes, gliders, and rotorcraft. David lives in Montana with his family and continues to plan, procure and construct wind farms.
